Giclee' prints of any original painting are available by custom order. Full-scale prints of any painting are in certified limited editions of 10. Reduced scale prints (80% or less of full-scale) are open edition. Prints can be made on either paper (300# Concorde Rag Fine Art Paper- archival to 150+ years) or canvas (archival to 100+ years). Prints on paper would need framing under glass or plastic whereas those on canvas would not. In landscape format the maximum height of the printed image is 54 inches, maximum width - 108 inches. Prints can be scaled down to a limit of 18 inches for the smallest dimension. Prints cannot be scaled larger than the original painting,
Pricing is determined by the area size in square feet (or fraction thereof) of the printed image at the rate of $50 per square foot. For example- "Sanderling Bar" shown above, with original dimensions of 31 x 40 inches, scaled down to a print measuring 20 x 26 (3.6 square feet) would be priced at (3.6 x $50) or $180.00
In another example- for a full-scale print of "End of the Dry" shown above- the painting is 36 x 48 inches. This figures out to 12 square feet, so at the gallery rate of $50 per square foot, the total cost of the print would be 12 x $50 or $600.00.
Canvas prints are mounted on stretcher frames and treated with a protective coating of Golden Artist Colors MSA Varnish, a museum quality, uv light filter- available in either glossy, satin or matte finish.
